Caller Name ID FAQs

General Information

Caller Name ID is a service that lets you know who’s calling you by displaying the name and phone number, as well as the city and state assigned to the caller’s phone number. If the caller has uploaded an image to their profile and you are using an Android or BlackBerry device, you’ll also see the picture. iPhone® users will not see any pictures.

Note: We don’t pre-screen any caller’s name for this service. To use these services, you must represent and warrant to us that the information you provide is accurate, not intended to offend, impersonate, misinform or mislead others, and doesn’t infringe or violate someone else’s rights or the laws, rules or regulations with regard to privacy, intellectual property or otherwise.

Liv Cellular customers customize the name that others will see on certain outbound calls through Share Name ID. We don’t pre-screen any caller’s name for this service; to use these services, you must represent and warrant to us that the information you provide is accurate, not intended to offend, impersonate, misinform or mislead others, and doesn’t infringe or violate someone else’s rights or any laws, rules or regulations with regard to privacy, intellectual property or otherwise.

Caller Name ID is available when your phone is roaming. However, service delivery depends on the roaming carrier’s ability to provide the caller’s name and picture, and data charges may apply.
